Founded in the 19th century by August Horch, Audi AG is a German luxury automobile manufacturer with headquarters in Ingolstadt. It is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and was established in 1949. The company launched their first car, the Audi Type A Sport Phaeton in 1910, which gained success in the sporting events. The four interlocking rings logo symbolizes the merger of four automobile manufacturers, namely, Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer. Currently, Audi has spread its wings in over 100 markets worldwide and sells a range of vehicles including sedans, sports cars, SUVs as well as electric cars.
